Photo Shoot Prep List

To make your property look its absolute best, please do the following in addition to cleaning your home.

Interior

Turn on all lights in the house (including lamps and under-cabinet lights.)
Replace any missing light bulbs.
Turn off all ceiling fans.
Open all blinds and curtains.
Turn on fireplace if gas.
Minimize clutter and remove all items off countertops (including kitchen appliances, remotes), tables, night stands etc.
Remove small throw rugs (including doormats and bathroom mats.)
Hide trash cans and toilet bowl brushes.
Remove all personal items from bathroom countertops, sinks, showers and tubs. This includes toothbrushes, shampoos, loofahs, makeup, etc.
Please keep all pets restrained, in a kennel, or offsite during your appointment.
Put away all dog bowls and toys.
Remove personal photographs.

Exterior

Put away water hoses, toys, cleaning supplies, recycle bins and other miscellaneous items that are not directly part of the exterior area.
Arrange outdoor furniture as you would like it photographed.
If there is a patio umbrella, please open it.
Remove yard signs (home security, school, etc.)
Sweep/remove leaves and other items in patio areas.

Pools/Jacuzzis/Firepits

Twilight Shoots

Read Exterior and Pools/Jacuzzis/Firepits lists above.
Make sure all exterior AND interior lights are on (with the exception of spot lights).
If there is a pool light or jacuzzi light, turn that on.
